Service Terms
1. General Overview
These terms outline the conditions of hire between you (“the Client”) and Lumen Hall Lighting (“the Company”). By confirming a booking, you agree to the practices described below. Our services operate under UK law, with fair and transparent arrangements designed for mutual respect.
2. Quotations & Bookings
All quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. A booking is confirmed once written acceptance and any required deposit are received. Equipment remains the property of the Company at all times.
3. Delivery, Setup & Use
Our team delivers and installs lighting according to an agreed schedule. We expect reasonable access, safe working conditions, and cooperation from venue staff. Equipment must not be modified or relocated without our consent.
4. Safety & Compliance
All gear is regularly inspected and maintained in compliance with relevant UK safety standards. Our technicians hold appropriate training for electrical and rigging work. Clients must ensure that no untrained person interferes with powered equipment.
5. Payment & Invoicing
Payment terms are shown on the invoice. Late payments may incur reasonable administrative fees. All costs are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
6. Cancellations & Changes
Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled event may be subject to partial charges reflecting committed labour and transport costs. We review exceptional circumstances fairly.
7. Liability
While every effort is made to maintain safe and reliable operations, the Company shall not be liable for indirect losses or delays beyond its control, including venue restrictions or extreme weather conditions.
8. Data & Privacy
Personal data collected during bookings is processed according to our Privacy & Booking Notes. We comply fully with UK GDPR and maintain strict confidentiality.
